Fivel is a 2-ply woolen spun yarn made of 100% Norwegian lambswool. This yarn makes lightweight, lofty and warm garments that hold their shape well throughout the years. Because the yarn is so voluminous and airy, you can use a wide range of needle sizes depending on the fabric you want. Fivel is also great for colourwork or cabled projects, as its "toothiness" will make knitting with those techniques easier.
