Sale & discount policy
The following policies apply to all discounted purchases during our sale events.

Please note that these guidelines ensure that our small team can process orders efficiently and fairly. Please review them carefully before participating in any of our sales.
DISCOUNTS
Discount amounts are decided by our team ahead of time. You can combine sale discounts with our free shipping threshold of $150 CAD, but not with our 10% newsletter sign-up discount. No retroactive discounts allowed.
HOLDS
We do not do holds on product, for sale events or otherwise. We do this as a standard policy to ensure fairness for all our customers, and also to keep our inventory tracking correct. If you require certain products or certain amounts, we strongly suggest securing stock before or during the sale by ordering online.
IN-STORE SALE SHOPPING
- Please treat our staff with kindness and respect while you shop.
- While we love to give in-depth advice and assistance, we may not be able to give you the time you need for project planning during busy events. Please plan your projects ahead of time.
- There will be no complimentary ball winding on sale days.
- If you need to make exchanges or returns, we kindly ask that you come in before or after our sale events to do so.
ONLINE SHOPPING
- For local oders, please wait until you recieve a "ready for pickup" email before coming in to pick up your order.
- Please leave an order note if you've made secondary orders that you would like combined with initial orders. We can't manually match orders during high volume events.
- There will be no complimentary ball winding for online sale orders.
- Please be sure to check your order thoroughly before submitting it. We will not have the capacity to make changes for colour mistakes, quantity mistakes, shipping method errors, etc.
- You can pre-load your cart ahead of the sale. Simply refresh your cart at the sale start time, and the discounts will automatically apply.
DYELOTS
We cannot guarantee specific dyelots during busy sale events. However, we do our absolute best to match dyelots, and if there are any dyelot issues with an order, we will reach out for your advice. If you need a specific dyelot, please leave an order note requesting said dyelot. We will fo our best to get the correct dyelot for you.
FULFILLMENT TIMES
- Please be aware that fulfillment times are slower during and after sale events due to the high volume of orders.
- Please allow 3-7 days after the sale ends for our small team to pack and fulfill your orders.
- While choosing a faster shipping method will speed up your delivery time AFTER fulfillment, it does not speed up fulfillment time.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
- Customer support will be limited during sales. Email responses will be slower than usual as we will be very busy packing orders and helping in-store customers.
- Please have your projects and ideas ready BEFORE sale days. Our small team will not have the capacity to assist with the usual pattern searching, gauge advice, yarn substitutions, colour consultations, meterage calculations, etc.
Please keep in mind that real humans are running your sales. We ask that you be patient and kind with our team members at all times, but especially during busy periods. We work very hard to ensure our customers are satisfied and feel taken care of.
