First House is a scent made exclusively for us by Alben Lane Candle Co. Inspired by childhood memories of walking into the "spinner's house" of a heritage village, First House encapsulates the atmosphere of a dark pioneer cabin, with sheepswool being washed, carded, spun, and dyed beside a big blazing hearth.
THE SCENT
First House is best described as smelling like smoke, leather, and firewood, with more subtle notes of tobacco, clove, sandalwood, and patchouli.
HOW IT'S MADE
Alben Lane candles are made here in Halifax by Jess & Becca. All the materials they use to pour and package their candles are sourced within Canada. Their candles are made with 100% soy wax, and are 100% vegan, phthalate and paraben free.
