Cotton Merino | Knitting for Olive
Knitting for Olive's cotton merino is everything you need in a summertime yarn. While the overall result of this yarn is a breathable and sweat-wicking fabric, the small merino content provides a little bit of elasticity, memory, and loft.
This yarn is super soft against the skin, perfect for those who are sensitive to wools, or for baby knits! You can knit Cotton Merino alone, held double-stranded for a DK gauge, or paired with a complimentary yarn like mohair.

HOW IT'S MADE
Knitting for Olive's merino comes from sheep bred in Patagonia, where mulesing is not practiced. The wool can be traced directly back to the farm it comes from. It is then produced in Italy, in a spinning mill that follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, creating yarns free from harmful chemicals. As with all Knitting for Olive yarns, this yarn is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified.
PROJECT IDEAS
This yarn is perfect for summertime knits like camisoles, tees, skirts, and dresses. But it's also wonderful for those who are sensitive to animal fibers, as well as babies and toddlers. Because this is a fingering-weight yarn, you'll get a beautiful lightweight fabric that's soft and breathable.
