Gepard is a Danish brand meaning "cheetah" and was founded in 1989 by Sus Gebhard. They work closely with small family-owned Italian mills to create high-quality yarns. This cashmere is made in Italy, and unlike cheaper cashmere yarns, this one is prewashed so that you don't lose any of the fiber once you wash your finished project.
