DESCRIPTION

Chiaogoo crochet hooks are so nice and light in the hand, made fully out of a smooth bamboo.

These larger bamboo hooks are great for beginner crocheters, as you'll be able to really see what you're doing and get a good feel of the techniques. They have a nice taper at the tip so that you can easily glide your hook through your yarn.

HOW IT'S MADE

Chiagoo is a family owned business, started by four brothers who grew up in the Bamboo Capital of China. The inspiration for the brand name "Chiaogoo" came from their mother, who was an avid knitter, and means "highly skilled and crafty lady". Today, they make all their hooks and needles out of high quality materials in China, and are considered one of the best knitting needle manufacturers in the world. You can read more about their story here.

BEST SUITED FOR

These hooks are perfect for beginners who are just learning how to crochet. They're also ideal for any bulkier weight yarns or creating a fabric that's loose and mesh-like.
