2 Ply Jumper Weight | Jamieson & Smith
- HOW IT'S MADE
- PROJECT IDEAS
Made of 100% Shetland Wool from the Shetland Islands of Scotland, Jamieson & Smith's 2-ply Jumper Weight is a gorgeous fingering weight yarn that is perfect for colourwork like fair isle and intarsia. This yarn comes in conveniently sized 25-gram balls, for when you're knitting colourwork accessories, or when you need just that one small pop of colour in your knitting.
And like most wools, this Shetland wool has many incredible qualities such as being temperature regulating, moisture and sweat wicking, water and wind resistant, and durable. Wool rarely needs washing, and other than the occasional spot-clean, airing out your woolens on a breezy day is often enough to refresh them fully!

This yarn is absolutely perfect for colourwork projects. The toothy texture of the yarn ensures that there will be no visible gaps between your colours, and because it comes in small 25g balls, you can make gorgeous colourwork accessories like hats and mitts without having to buy large skeins and breaking the bank! This yarn is also great for making small toys and stuffed animals too!
