One of Sandnes Garn's earliest offerings, Peer Gynt is truly a workhorse yarn. Made of 100% Norwegian wool, this yarn is light, warm, pill-resistant, resilient, and will only get softer with wear.
Like most wools, this Norwegian wool has many incredible qualities such as being temperature regulating, moisture and sweat wicking, water and wind resistant, and durable. Wool rarely needs washing, and other than the occasional spot-clean, airing out your woolens on a breezy day is enough to refresh them fully!

HOW IT'S MADE
This yarn is made in Norway in the Sandnes Garn factory from sheep to skein, and is mulesing-free. The factory follows very strict EU regulations, is regularly tested for toxins, and runs almost completely on electric power from Lyse, whose energy source is hydropowered. PROJECT IDEAS
We think Peer Gynt is suited for pretty much any kind of project, from sweaters and pants to hats and scarves and blankets! It also suits a wide range of skill levels from beginner to advanced. If you find some wools itchy, you can add a strand of mohair or alpaca to soften it up. Whether you're making your very first sweater or your fifteenth sweater, Peer Gynt is a beautiful and economic choice.
