This worsted-weight cotton is such a versatile and economical yarn for all sorts of projects. Made of 100% unmercerized cotton, Nifty Cotton is a soft yarn with a matte texture that's easy to work with and feels lovely on the skin.
Cotton has many benefits - it's soft enough for baby items, naturally machine-washable and tumble-dry safe, as well as cooling, breathable, and quick-drying in hot weather. Cotton yarns don't have much elasticity, so they can be harder on the hands, but you end up with a gorgeous drapey fabric that's perfect for the summer!

This cotton is produced in Brazil by Circulo. Circulo cotton is OEKO-TEX certified, and the company works with cotton producers that are certified by the BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), a non-profit organization that works to improve sustainability and workers' rights in cotton production globally.
