Midnatssol (or "Midnight Sun") is a wonderfully soft and fluffy lace-weight yarn made of baby alpaca, merino, and Tencel. A softer sister to mohair, Midnatssol is great for those who find mohair itchy or irritating, while still giving all the same benefits and effects that a classic mohair yarn gives, such as strength, fluffiness, and softness.

HOW IT'S MADE
Midnatssol is made from 100% natural & biodegradable fibers including baby alpaca, merino, and Tencel. The baby alpaca and merino are sourced from South America where mulesing is not practiced. Tencel is a branded name for lyocell, which is made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus trees in a closed-loop production cycle without the use of toxic solutions or petroleum.
PROJECT IDEAS
Midnatssol is a great solution for those who love the look of mohair, but find mohair irritating to the skin. You can hold a strand of Midnatssol with any other yarn to bulk up your gauge, add softness, add strength, or just to give a fuzzy halo to your project. You can also hold Midnatssol double for a fluffy and lightweight fabric.
